Small and smart: Loose-format anodes
Although most of the various loose-format anodes are still delivered to customers in the metal finishing or electroplating sectors, we have over the years seen many other applications emerge that go far beyond this original use. For example, the balls, pellets and sticks are used in electronic manufacturing (EMS) as a flexible filling material for wave and selective soldering systems and for dip-tinning solder baths. The versatile material is also used in an extremely wide range of different metals and alloys as a raw feedstock for the production of alloys. Another way in which the loose formats are used is for the filling of complex geometrical moulds and containers such as those used for counterweights or trim weights. They are also used in very specific applications: One practical example of this is the vaporisation process for the production of high-quality helmet visors, to generate the necessary UV and glare protection. We produce the majority of our balls, pellets and sticks from pure metals such as Sn99.9 / Sn99.99 or Pb99.94 / Pb99.99. The quality of all delivered products complies with all current applicable standards.
Alternatively, we can also produce our loose formats in accordance with our own stringent quality standards and factory specifications, which in general of course comply with the CMRT.
