It’s all a question of format.
We produce and deliver the right anodes for applications and end products that are usually very demanding. These include solid plate and rod anodes and loose-format anodes, so sticks, pellets or balls. The focus here is primarily on pure-tin anodes with a maximum lead component of 0.03%, 0.01% or 0.005%. One of the most important characteristics of solid anodes is their very high level of material homogeneity. This is crucial for ensuring predictable dissolution behaviour of the anodes and therefore for fault-free operation. The anodes that we cast stand out thanks to their high level of homogeneity and correspondingly optimised material consumption. The right format will depend on the application, the surface quantities being coated and the customer’s specified processing parameters. We can offer you solid anodes that can be clamped or screwed on or that are fixed in place with hooks, depending on your application and facility. Our loose-format anodes are poured loose into titanium or stainless steel baskets, with optional protection in the form of specially developed anode sacks. We will gladly advise you on all of the formats and specifications.
Applications
Reel-to-reel electroplating
This method involves the workpieces to be coated being pulled through the system as a “strip” or in the form of reeled components and being coated directly.Barrel plating
The workpieces to be coated are processed directly inside a barrel.Rack plating
This method involves the workpieces for coating being mounted on a rack and processed.Selective electroplating
A precision method involving the coating of only certain parts of a component.
