When the very first non-ferrous and precious metals were mined from native ores in Halsbrücke in 1612, it could not have been predicted that this would lead to one of the most renowned specialists for tin and lead alloys. Today, we produce high-quality metals and metal alloys in a wide range of compositions, variants, formats - and purities - at our Halsbrücke site. With state-of-the-art technologies and extensive metallurgical know-how, we are also able to process practically all types of tin and lead residues - in a resource-saving, environmentally friendly and economical way.

Emil Otto
The name “Emil Otto” has been synonymous with the highest quality since 1901. We are an owner-run business in the fifth generation, and we are dedicated to the development and manufacture of high-quality products for metal-finishing and metal-joining technology. Market leaders around the world in particular use our fluxing agents for electronics production, strip tinning, cooler production and galvanising.
Reliable products and a high level of customer focus have become our source of pride over the years. We manufacture to the highest standards, and our quality and environmental management systems have been certified for many years. We meet all customer specifications and flexibly address individual customer requirements. We develop and implement speciality products and product adaptations with the collaboration of equipment manufacturers and institutes.
Eutect
Our aim is to realise high-quality and technically perfect machines. It is all about the optimal solution for every customer. EUTECT stands for a consistently applied quality management, that does not first begin during production, rather already during the development.
Contrary to the usual trend, we prefer a high real net output ratio. In our Technology Centre we find the optimal connecting process for your product. Modules and systems are developed in our 3D design system and transferred via the CAM system to our CNC production. We assemble, document and program in-house. The commissioning takes place on our premises or on-site at our customers. In addition, by means of machine- and process training courses as well as production support, we offer our customers deadline security in the project and fast, competent support from a single source.
