The spectrum ranges from standard alloys and metals to old, solders with good setting properties suitable for use on listed buildings right through to individually developed soft solders for refining work in production processes within the fields of craft and industry.

From standard to special

The applications and corresponding requirements are extremely wide-ranging and often very individual. The almost limitless application spectrum ranges from radiator and container construction to sheet metal working, i.e. roofing, to the extremely demanding field of organ building and the wide area of arts and crafts, right through to rare setting or embedding solders used in the jewellery industry. This sector is particularly exciting due to the extremely varied products and services, while also posing difficult challenges for our specialists in terms of their experience and skills. This is reflected in particular in the very different materials and their individual characteristics. It goes without saying that we also deliver various standard alloys and metals with clearly defined characteristics - on time, in high quality and with a background of extensive experience with regard to the actual applications. 

Because expertise is everything

We also carry out reliable material analyses with a high level of precision and expertise. This allows us to determine the material compositions of the soft solders previously used in organs or window surrounds for construction elements on listed buildings, for example, and to produce the necessary reconstructed historical alloys with a high level of precision. Another typical application example takes the form of special low-wear and therefore long-lasting alloys for sliding bearings. Our specialists can also develop very specific soft-solder compositions for you. The methods used by our customers include iron soldering or flame brazing as well as casting and rolling and special die-casting/pressure centrifugal casting methods. We primarily supply the materials as bars, rods, ingots or wires, but also in the form of anodes, sticks and balls.
